⏰ Mainnet Timeline
Before the launch of Mainnet, a snapshot of the blockchain will be made, which will allow for a soft transfer of account balances from the old network to the SmartHoldem 2.0 network.
On August 27, the SmartHoldem wallet, website and other platform services will be disabled. At the time of the update, you can transfer SmartHoldem STH to your account on the XBTS exchange or do nothing and wait for the blockchain update process to complete.

Once the Mainnet is launched, the block explorer for the new network will be launched, where you can check your accounts. During the first week, a new SmartHoldem Online Wallet will be launched.

🎯 Navigating the Transition
On August 29, 2023 SmartHoldem devs with validators will coordinate to effectuate the migration to the new Core.
This is a a totally new blockchain, which means that it will NOT be backwards compatible with the old code. Old nodes will NOT be able to communicate with new nodes, as they will be automatically banned.

As part of the first phase, SmartHoldem' 21 initial validators will begin taking operations of all nodes and ensuring that SmartHoldem DPoS Layer 1 can maintain stable performance.

SmartHoldem testnet set New Record! Evaluation of performance and scalability.

On July 31 at 18:00 UTC, the SmartHoldem test net stress test took place.
101 people took part in the stress test.

SmartHoldem Testnet has reached a new milestone: 5 529 600 000 operations per day!

The stress test was as close to real conditions as possible. The purpose of this test was to evaluate the capabilities of the blockchain with an increase in transaction load, to check the security of the network from various spam attacks, and to count the number of transactions in the blockchain per second/hour/day.

Together we achieved record-breaking results, reflecting hard work, commitment, and determination demonstrated by the SmartHoldem community.

This stress test is of great importance for the development of the network. He helped test the stability of a potential SmartHoldem mainnet hard fork and demonstrate the exceptional scalability and efficiency of the SmartHoldem blockchain.

The test network has 23 nodes. 21 nodes are blockchain validators. Block time 8 seconds. The network fees changes dynamically depending on the load and cannot exceed 1 STH.
The technical specification for the Testnet node at the moment is 8GB RAM, CPU 2, and 24GB HDD.

One transaction can include multiple payments (transactions L2), this process is called bundling and is a more efficient way to send funds to multiple recipients. For this reason, while the SmartHoldem network is composed of blocks of transactions, looking at the number of payments (transactions L2) is the best indicator of overall network activity. Payments are only counted after their transactions are included in a block.

We analyzed different hash rates depending on the transaction load. Below are performance and scalability calculations for the SmartHoldem blockchain

Each stress test participant was given 10,000 test coins. When the balance of coins was used up, it was possible to receive additional coins and continue participation.
No additional specialized software/hardware was required to participate in the stress test.

В Стресс-тесте приняли участие 101 человек.

Вместе нам удалось добиться рекордных показателей по обработке операций в блокчейне!

Стресс-тест был максимально приближен к реальным условиям. Целью этого теста была оценка возможностей блокчейна с увеличением транзакционной нагрузки, проверка защищенности сети от различных спам атак, подсчет количество операций в блокчейне в секунду/час/день.

Этот стресс-тест имеет большое значение для развития сети. Он помог проверить стабильность потенциального хардфорка основной сети SmartHoldem и продемонстрировать исключительную масштабируемость и эффективность блокчейна SmartHoldem.

Тестовая сеть
В тестовой сети работают 23 узла. 21 нода - это валидаторы блокчейна. Время блока 8 секунд. Комиссия сети меняется динамически в зависимости от нагрузки и не может превысить 1 STH.

Как проходил стресс-тест:

We are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated debut of SmartHoldem Testnet, which will take place on July 31, 2023, at 18:00 UTC. The primary objective of this event is to conduct a comprehensive stress test on our network by evaluating the block speed, transaction rate, and operations per second under various simulations and fluctuating conditions.

During this process, we will diligently analyze the Testnet network's response to varying hash rates and generate transaction loads. By emulating an organic, real-world network demand, we aim to create an environment that fosters rigorous evaluation.

Our goal is to evaluate the network's capabilities by testing it with increasing transaction loads of 1000 transactions per block, to check the protection of the network from various spam attacks, and to measure the number of operations per second/hour/day.

We invite all community members to take an active part in the network stress test. Together we strive for a blockchain payment processing record.

How to participate
You do not need any specialized software/hardware to participate in the stress test.

Visit the https://smartholdem.io/stress-test page, which will connect you to the testnet.

On the https://smartholdem.io/stress-test page, click "Get New Address". You will receive an address with the test coins required to participate in the stress test.

The stress test is as close to natural conditions as possible and will provide information on the number of operations processed by the network per second/hour/day with the number of 2000 transactions per block.

This stress test is of paramount importance to our network's growth and resilience. It is an opportunity to test the stability of a potential mainnet hard fork and demonstrate the exceptional scalability and efficiency of the blockchain.

If the results of the testnet work are favorable, a decision will be made to implement a hard fork of the main SmartHoldem network.
