XBTS DEX is a BitShares-based decentralized exchange and an entry point into the volumes of decentralized markets.

How to Trade Crypto On XBTS Signing up

First thing’s first, you’ll need to create an account. Anyone is able to sign up since XBTS does not require customer information.

Visit the XBTS website https://xbts.io/. Click [Log In] or [Create Account] buttons from the menu to log into your XBTS account. Then, click on [Exchange] to view all the current market details of each trading pair.

In XBTS, you can create readable and memorable own unique account name for your XBTS account. When you create a XBTS account, the account name registers to the blockchain. The account comes with the Private/public keys.
YOU SHOULD KEEP THE INFORMATION SAFE!!! ONLY YOU HAVE THE ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT! In order to ensure Anonymity of the user's IP, his IP-address is hashed. Also, XBTS account gives you some benefits (i.e., Lifetime Membership (LTM) and Referral Program). When you create an account at XBTS, the account name will be available also at BitShares wallet.

After you fill in the required fields, click “Create account”.

Once the key is clicked, your XBTS account is ready to be used.

Deposit Funds

Now that your account is activated, but before exploring the rest of the XBTS exchange, you’ll need to add funds to your account if you wish to buy or sell any cryptocurrencies.

You can make a deposit by sending funds from other exchange or a separate cryptocurrency wallet into your XBTS account.

In the top-right hand corner of the screen click on “Wallet” and from the list select the cryptocurrency you are wishing to Deposit.

On the exchange

On the main XBTS website https://xbts.io , you will see a tab named ‘ALL Markets’, select that and you will be directed to the page (shown above) where you will be able to choose from your favorite token/coin and pairings.

After you have selected your desired token/coin, you will be brought to the markets exchange page https://ex.xbts.io where you can see the price chart, order book for both buy and sell as well as the list of assets with percentage changes on the left-hand side of the screen.

Professional cryptocurrency trading interface of XBTS has 5 key components:

Trade History
A history of recently executed trades can be found on the rightmost part of XBTS trading interface.
Price chart - This tool visual represents order book data so you can easily see what price levels contain a high or low concentration of orders.

Orderbook
Here you can see all the limit orders waiting to be filled.
Orderbook is a tool that visualizes a real-time list of outstanding orders for a particular asset, order books represent the interests of buyers and sellers, offering a window into supply and demand.

Price chart
The price chart displays the live price action of the cryptocurrency selected.

Personalize
Personalize offers a fully customizable trading interface.

The Buy/Sell area
Use the buy area to buy Crypto, or the sell area to sell Crypto. Fill in the price and the amount that you prefer to place the order.

The price displayed in the limit price area is the last transaction price. You can choose a market order if you want to make a transaction quickly.
If the market price of Crypto is 0.3 but you want to buy at 0.2, then you can place a limit order.

DESKTOP CLIENT

XBTS Desktop gives you access to XBTS exchange and largest Bitshares decentralized market. Our Desktop version offers a fully customizable trading interface. XBTS Dex crypto trading experience, made for your Windows, MacOS, Linux devices.

Withdraw

The process for withdrawing your funds is similar to when you first deposited them.

In the top-right hand corner of the screen click on “Wallet” and from the list select the cryptocurrency you are wishing to withdraw.

Select “Withdraw”. Click the button below to withdrawal “Withdraw now”.

Enter wallet address (the one you wish to offramp to) and enter the desired amount then hit “Withdraw”.
